Rooted to the grounds of the Murgialdai farmhouse on the slopes of the Ubao river in Oñati, our vineyards are tradition and authenticity.
According to ancient references, the vineyard has been the backbone of the Murgialdai farmhouse since at least 1850. Originally, it was for self-consumption and complemented dairy cattle farming in earlier times. Nowadays, our project revitalizes this winemaking tradition by producing unique wine with deep respect for the environment, being part of a landscape full of history, and conveying our knowledge on sustainable agriculture to our community.

Our project is family work. We look after, work on, and supervise the production of the vineyards by hand, especially during harvest. We have highly qualified technical advice, and we are in a continuous training on progress in the field by cooperating with the EHU/UPV, thus we ensure a production based on quality and sustainability. thus we ensure a production based on quality and sustainability.
Made in a mild microclimate, our txakoli is a unique wine. The location, soil, and climate are the main key elements for the quality of our wine. These make their way from the vineyard, located in the hillsides of the Ubao river, in the Aloña-Aitzgorri mountains.
